CONFIDENTIALITY - Anything shared in this group will not be repeated outside the group. We should all feel free to speak without fear, social condemnation, and recrimination.

EVERYONE has the right and opportunity to speak at our meetings.

EVERYONE has the right not to speak.

BE CONSIDERATE when speaking. Don't monopolize conversation.

ANYONE may ask a question.

ANYONE may refuse to answer a question.

BE POLITE! Don't interrupt when someone is speaking. If you have a question or comment while someone is speaking raise your hand to get the permission of the person who is speaking.

DO NOT BE OVERTLY JUDGMENTAL: Do not openly pass judgment on others in the group. You have not walked in that person's shoes. "Do not judge, lest you be judged." Everyone has faults and not everyone agrees with everyone else. FOLLOW THE GOLDEN RULE: TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WISH OTHERS TO TREAT YOU! Treat each other kindly. Remember this is a "support" group!

VERBAL ABUSE is not permitted.

BE ATTENTIVE to the person who is speaking. No side conversations.

RESPECT OTHERS at all times.

WE are all similar and we are all different. No one agrees with anyone else about everything 100-percent of the time.

WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER NOT KNOCK EACH OTHER DOWN!!!

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO BEING KIND AND RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS!

The meetings will generally proceed as follows:


First 30-minutes: Open Discussion

Next 60-minutes: TOPIC OF THE WEEK (topic decided upon at previous meeting)

Final 15-minutes: Wrap-up, final thoughts, decide on a TOPIC for the next meeting, announcements, farewells til next time
